I am sorry that I have been a little bit distant recently, my comment upkeep will improve soon! I am going to see my cousin for a couple of days which should be lovely. I don't have any of my own secrets to post for you at the moment so these postsecrets will have to keep you going. When I return on Tuesday I will definitely have secrets to share, promise. The first of these postsecrets is one that I rarely share with anyone. I am not American, nor have I ever been to America, but I am fascinated by the events of 9/11 (and by that I mean I own books, documentaries, films - the whole thing). Friends have commented that this preoccupation is both morbid and a little weird. Honestly though I find something strangely cathartic about reading about tragic loss, great heroism, lucky escapes and the most horrible endings. I cry when I read about it, I put myself in the position of those people and wonder how I would have coped. I guess you could call it escapism? Whatever it is I have never found anyone who quites understands it. The second of these secrets really spoke to me. It means something quite personal to me which I won't be sharing today if you don't mind, everyone can have secrets right? Please do let me know which postsecret was your favourite, and go and check them out at www.postsecret.com for yourself. Enjoy!
